Web 3.0 or just abbreviated to Web3 is a catch all term for all things crypto, NFTs, blockchain, metaverse, and any other major buzzwords you might have seen in the headlines.

It’s all about putting the ownership of the internet back into the hands of the people.

Web3 is the next major iteration of the internet.

NFT is short for Non-Fungible Token, it’s a token that lives on the blockchain and it’s usually a digital collectible - think of it like a digital trading card.

The major trend has been for digital art NFTs, but an NFT is much more than just a jpeg, and it often has real world value like providing membership to a community or even accessing real-world physical products.

An NFT is stored on the blockchain, which is a super secure (and very public) way of transacting, which is why NFTs are like certificates of ownership.

Oh and they can be pretty volatile - imagine the stock market run by drunk teenagers and that should give you an idea of what to expect when trading NFTs!
